What does "C&I" stand for?
C&I stands for “Contests and Incentives” – a term frequently used by Ford for a specific area of the marketing business. The C&I Department encompasses many things.
The following are some examples: Customer rebates on new vehicles, Dealer Contests, reoccuring and continuous incentive programs, automatic payments, and even sales reporting.
The C&I Department deals with the monies owing to dealers (by Ford of Canada) for most things related to marketing. The manual Ford supplies to dealers in this regard is commonly called “the C&I Guide”.
